COMPOSIÇÃO QUÍMICA E ATIVIDADE ACARICIDA DO ÓLEO ESSENCIAL DE ERVA-DE-SANTA-MARIA SOBRE O ÁCARO-RAJADO

Resumo

O trabalho teve como objetivo extrair e identificar a composição química e avaliar a atividade acaricida do óleo essencial de Chenopodium ambrosioides L. (Amaranthaceae) sobre Tetranychus urticae Koch (Acari: Tetranychidae). Fêmeas adultas do ácaro-rajado foram submetidas às concentrações de 5, 10, 15, 20 e 25 μL do óleo essencial por litro de ar. Dentre as oito substâncias químicas que compõem o óleo essencial de C. ambrosioides, o (Z)-ascaridol (81,40%) foi o componente majoritário. As CL50 e CL90 encontradas após 72 h de exposição ao óleo essencial foram de 5,82 e 10,79 µL L-1 de ar, respectivamente, e a fecundidade das fêmeas de T. urticae sofreu reduções inversamente proporcionais ao aumento das concentrações utilizadas.
