Abstract

The urgency to promote global awareness of sustainable development demands educational strategies that transcend traditional methods, integrating technology and interactivity. This work presents the development and architecture of the UFERSA SDG Extension Web System, a platform focused on gamified teaching of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The solution was built using the Next.js framework and the React library, adopting a front-end-centric architecture with static site generation (SSG) to ensure high performance, low infrastructure costs, and scalability via AWS Amplify. The interface was structured using the Atomic Design methodology, providing a responsive and modular environment that facilitates navigation and playful engagement through educational games. Initial results demonstrate that the combination of software engineering practices with gamification strategies favors the assimilation of complex themes, consolidating the system as a viable tool for basic education and university extension projects.
