English

It presents an investigation about the informational indicators in "Social Inclusion" from the Database of the Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo). The research aims to analyze these indicators considering the indexed scientific production in the last ten years, in the period from 2007 to 2017. It is observed that there are few studies in Information Science on the theme "Social Inclusion" and for this reason, the power of action and scientific intervention becomes limited in the sense of enabling counter-hegemonic actions of popular empowerment to reduce the inequalities consolidated through the current models of social contracts. Thus, it is concluded that it is necessary to expand research aimed at the social bias in the field of Information Science and by doing so, we have scientific journals that produce relevant impact factors, with informational indicatives that add strategic value and which contribute to the reduction of uncertainties and the pressure of social and political forces so that the data and information generated become differential elements in favor of those populations that are marginalized and consequently deprived of any support or initiatives to reduce social inequalities.
ER -
