Abstract

Numerical and analytical methods are of paramount importance in the analysis and modeling of engineering problems. Given this context,
this work aims to carry out a methodology for the study and teaching of classical electrical circuits. Such methodology is based on
an analytical and numerical study of the differential equations that involve the circuits. The programming used is done in the C/C++
language. The differential equation is solved analytically and compared with the numerical solutions of the 4th order Runge Kutta method
(RK 4th) and the power series method. A small percentage error was found at the end of the solutions, which shows the precision and
applicability of the numerical methods used.
