Abstract

This paper is aimed at understanding and applying online vibration monitoring based on the concept of the predictive vibration analysis inspection technique, enabling better operation of equipment in an oil installation. It presents a study (pilot feasibility analysis project) of the efficiency of the online system in relation to the offline system for vibrational monitoring of equipment such as motors and speed reducers, through the analysis of several spectra collected throughout the day. This study made it possible to evaluate all operating conditions of equipment at an oil collection station, providing greater predictability of maintenance and better planning of preventive stops where maintenance occurs, offering less operational impact and greater cost-benefit return on the equipment used.
