Abstract

This article aims to identify the technologies that make it possible to accelerate the processing of lawsuits in the Judiciary, relating the Judiciary and its new configuration based on the new technologies applied. Initially, themes such as: public management, procedural celerity, bureaucracy, bureaucratization, technological innovations in the Judiciary were addressed. Subsequently, we searched for articles that deal with technology and the Judiciary, technology and judicial processes. The systematic literature review followed a formalized research protocol to answer the following questions: What are the technological innovations promoted by the Judiciary Power of the State of Piauí in promoting the quality of services provided to society? How did the implementation of new technologies ensure procedural speed in the Judiciary of the State of Piauí? The study carried out is of the exploratory type and the qualitative approach. Analyzing the articles in detail, out of a total of 20 selected, 10 were excluded, since they had no relevance to the research study, leaving only 10 for analysis. Their theoretical contribution served as a basis for relating technological applications and procedural speed in the Judiciary, enriching the discussion of the theme related to the use of technologies, minimization or mitigation of delays in procedural processing, aiming to promote greater procedural speed in the judicial sphere.
